As the new year begins, everything takes on a new look. The traditional Chinese festival, the Spring Festival, is arriving. When we bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, we would like to extend our holiday greetings and sincere wishes to you all .

2020年，对于我们大家而言都是极其不平凡的一年。面对突如其来的新冠肺炎疫情冲击，你们和七千多万河北人民和衷共济、风雨同舟，共同进行了一场惊心动魄的抗疫大战，河北抗击新冠肺炎疫情斗争取得重大战略成果。同时，我们统筹推进经济社会发展，京津冀协同发展向广度深度拓展，雄安新区呈现塔吊林立、热火朝天的建设局面，京雄城际铁路全线开通运营，北京冬奥会场馆和配套设施项目全部完成建设任务，经济运行稳中向好，产业结构不断优化，主要指标高于全国平均水平。我们深知，这些成绩的取得也有你们的一份付出，对此我们铭记在心，并向你们表示由衷的感谢和崇高的敬意！

2020 is a year of special significance for all of us. Facing the sudden onslaught of the coronavirus, you and more than 70 million Hebei people have worked together to help each other through thick and thin, and together we have fought a hard battle against the epidemic. Hebei has achieved significant strategic results in the fight against COVID-19 and has coordinated and promoted economic and social development at the same time. The coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was expanded in greater scope and depth. The construction of the Xiongan New Area has been in full swing with numerous tower cranes operating in building sites. The Beijing-Xiongan intercity railway was opened to traffic. Work has been completed on the construction of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games venues and supporting facilities. The economy has registered a stable performance with good momentum for growth. The industrial structure has been optimized, and the main indicators are higher than the national average. We are aware that these achievements would not be possible without your contribution, which we will always bear in mind and for which we want to express our heartfelt gratitude and high respect to you.

当前，疫情仍在全球蔓延，近日我省石家庄市、邢台市再次出现本土新增病例，疫情防控形势依然严峻，常态化疫情防控不可松懈。为做好疫情防控工作，保障您和家人的健康安全，请您继续按照所在地政府和疫情防控部门的要求，认真遵守各项防控措施，主动做好自己和家人的健康监测和自身防护，节日期间尽量减少外出，度过一个平安祥和的春节。

At present, the epidemic is still raging across the globe. The recent resurgences of  confirmed cases in Shijiazhuang city and Xingtai city of Hebei province serve as stark reminders that the epidemic prevention and control situation is still severe, and regular COVID-19 control can not be slackened. In order to better prevent and control the epidemic and to protect the health and safety of you and your family, please follow the requirements of your local government and epidemic prevention and control authorities, carefully observe containment measures, actively monitor health conditions and take good care of you and your family,  avoid going out during festivals so as to spend a safe and tranquil Spring Festival.
