Latest Epidemic Update of Hebei（Feb. 16th, 2020）

Latest Update by the Health Commission of Hebei Province on Feb. 17th, 2020: 

Between 0:00 and 24:00, Feb 16th, 1 new case（in Xingtai）of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (NCP) was confirmed in Hebei Province. 9 cured and discharged cases were reported on the same day, of which 4 are in Cangzhou, 2 in Chengde, 2 in Baoding, and 1 in Handan. 2 new suspected cases (in Tangshan) were reported on the same day.

As of 24:00 of Feb. 16th, 2020, 301 cases have been confirmed in Hebei Province accumulatively, including 3 fatal cases, 23 severe cases, and 109 cured and discharged cases. Of the confirmed cases, 51 are in Tangshan, 47 in Cangzhou, 34 in Zhangjiakou, 32 in Baoding, 31 in Handan, 30 in Langfang, 28 in Shijiazhuang, 23 in Xingtai, 10 in Qinhuangdao, 8 in Hengshui and 7 in Chengde; of the fatal cases, 2 were in Cangzhou and 1 in Xingtai; of the severe cases, 4 in Tangshan, 4 are in Cangzhou, 3 in Shijiazhuang, 3 in Qinhuangdao, 2 in Zhangjiakou, 2 in Langfang, 2 in Handan, 1 in Baoding, 1 in Hengshui and 1 in Xingtai; of the cured and discharged cases, 21 are in Baoding, 18 in Cangzhou, 14 in Langfang, 10 in Xingtai, 10 in Handan, 9 in Zhangjiakou, 9 in Tangshan, 7 in Shijiazhuang, 4 in Chengde, 4 in Hengshui and 3 in Qinhuangdao. There are currently 13 suspected cases in total.

At present, of the traced 10,435 close contacts, 709 have been released on Feb. 16th and 2,900 are still under isolation and medical observation.
