Latest Epidemic Update of Hebei（Feb. 20th, 2020）

Latest Update by the Health Commission of Hebei Province on Feb. 21st, 2020: 

Between 0:00 and 24:00, Feb 20th, 1 new case（in Tangshan）of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (NCP) was confirmed in Hebei Province. 18 cured and discharged cases were reported on the same day, of which 4 were in Cangzhou, 4 in Handan, 3 in Tangshan, 3 in Xingtai, 1 in Shijiazhuang, 1 in Chengde, 1 in Qinhuangdao and 1 in Langfang. No fatal cases and suspected cases were reported on the same day. 

As of 24:00 of Feb. 20th, 2020, 308 cases had been confirmed in Hebei Province accumulatively, including 133 cases under treatment in hospitals, 15 severe cases, 170 cured and discharged cases, and 5 fatal cases. Of the confirmed cases, 57 were in Tangshan, 48 in Cangzhou, 34 in Zhangjiakou, 32 in Baoding, 31 in Handan, 30 in Langfang, 28 in Shijiazhuang, 23 in Xingtai, 10 in Qinhuangdao, 8 in Hengshui and 7 in Chengde; of the fatal cases, 3 were in Cangzhou, 1 in Tangshan and 1 in Xingtai; of the severe cases, 3 were in Shijiazhuang, 3 in Tangshan, 3 in Cangzhou, 2 in Qinhuangdao, 1 in Langfang, 1 in Baoding, 1 in Xingtai and 1 in Handan; of the cured and discharged cases, 27 were in Baoding, 24 in Zhangjiakou, 22 in Cangzhou, 21 in Langfang, 17 in Handan, 16 in Tangshan, 14 in Shijiazhuang, 13 in Xingtai, 6 in Hengshui, 5 in Chengde and 5 in Qinhuangdao. There are currently no suspected cases.

At present, of the traced 10,524 close contacts, 421 were released on Feb. 20th and 1,117 are still under isolation and medical observation.
