Latest Epidemic Update of Hebei（Feb. 22nd, 2020）

Latest Update by the Health Commission of Hebei Province on Feb. 23^rd, 2020: 

Between 0:00 and 24:00, Feb 22^nd, 2 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Hebei Province. Of the newly confirmed cases, 1 was in Tangshan, and 1 in Handan. 20 cured and discharged cases were reported on the same day, of which 4 were in Shijiazhuang, 4 in Cangzhou, 3 in Langfang, 3 in Xingtai, 3 in Handan, 1 in Tangshan, 1 in Zhangjiakou,  and 1 in Hengshui. No fatal cases and suspected cases were reported.

As of 24:00 of Feb. 22^nd, 2020, 311 cases had been confirmed in Hebei Province accumulatively, including 101 cases under treatment in hospitals, 9 severe cases, 204 cured and discharged cases, and 6 fatal cases. Of the confirmed cases, 58 were in Tangshan, 48 in Cangzhou, 34 in Zhangjiakou, 32 in Baoding, 32 in Handan, 30 in Langfang, 29 in Shijiazhuang, 23 in Xingtai, 10 in Qinhuangdao, 8 in Hengshui and 7 in Chengde; of the fatal cases, 3 were in Cangzhou, 1 in Qinhuangdao, 1 in Tangshan and 1 in Xingtai; of the severe cases, 3 were in Shijiazhuang, 3 in Tangshan, 2 in Cangzhou, and 1 in Baoding; of the cured and discharged cases, 29 were in Baoding, 26 in Zhangjiakou, 26 in Cangzhou, 25 in Langfang, 22 in Handan, 20 in Tangshan, 19 in Shijiazhuang, 18 in Xingtai, 7 in Hengshui, 6 in Chengde, and 6 in Qinhuangdao. There are currently no suspected cases.

At present, of the traced 10,547 close contacts, 88 were released on Feb. 22^nd and 749 are still under isolation and medical observation.
