Latest Epidemic Update of Hebei（April 1st, 2020）

Latest update by the Health Commission of Hebei Province on April 2nd, 2020:

Between 0:00 and 24:00, April 1st, 2 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were imported into Hebei Province.

On April 1st, no local confirmed cases, fatal cases, or suspected cases of COVID-19 were reported in Hebei Province. 

No cured and discharged cases were reported and no close contacts were released from isolation and medical observation on the same day.

No asymptomatic infections were added, 1 developed into confirmed case and none was released from isolation on the same day. There are 12 asymptomatic infections under medical observation (11 are imported).

As of 24:00 of April 1st, there were 9 confirmed cases (including 7 imported confirmed cases) in Hebei Province. In all, 310 cured and discharged cases, 6 fatal cases, 318 local confirmed cases and 7 imported cases had been reported. There are currently no suspected cases. Of the traced 11,202 close contacts, 268 are still under isolation and medical observation.

Of the local confirmed cases, 58 were in Tangshan, 48 in Cangzhou, 41 in Zhangjiakou, 32 in Baoding, 32 in Handan, 30 in Langfang, 29 in Shijiazhuang, 23 in Xingtai, 10 in Qinhuangdao, 8 in Hengshui and 7 in Chengde; of the fatal cases, 3 were in Cangzhou, 1 in Qinhuangdao, 1 in Tangshan and 1 in Xingtai; the 2 severe cases were in Tangshan; of the cured and discharged cases, 55 were in Tangshan, 45 in Cangzhou, 41 in Zhangjiakou, 32 in Baoding, 32 in Handan, 30 in Langfang, 29 in Shijiazhuang, 22 in Xingtai, 9 in Qinhuangdao, 8 in Hengshui and 7 in Chengde. 

For 34 consecutive days, no local confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Hebei Province.
