Xinhua News Agency, February 8 (Reporters: Le Wenwan, Xiao Yijiu) It’s learnt on the spot that Leishenshan Hospital in Wuhan admitted its first NCP (novel coronavirus pneumonia) patients at 20:00 February 8. Before that, the first batch of medical specialists had moved into it to get prepared in an orderly way.
Located on Qiangjun Road, Jiangxia District, Leishenshan Hospital is dedicated to NCP patients diagnosed at fever clinics or in hospital, and for inpatients only. It consists of two ICU areas, three sub-ICU areas and 27 ordinary ward areas, and except for ICU wards, each ward accommodates two patients, with 1,500 beds in total. There is also an operation room.
