Yesterday, many physical stores and farmers’ markets in Shijiazhuang were reopened, joining the growing list of businesses resumed. The city’s commerce bureau has guided trade and circulation companies to reopen by stages and batches in a scientific, reasonable orderly manner and for the convenience of consumers, minimized the risks and ensured all the prevention and control measures are well implemented. Across the city, 67 medium- and large-sized supermarkets and 413 chain convenience stores have been in normal operation since the coronavirus breakout. As of February 24, 12 complexes, nine shopping malls, eight agricultural products wholesale markets, and 49 farmers’ markets had opened and over 600 catering companies had provided food delivery services.
