At the press conference of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council on the afternoon of March 9, a briefing was given on the epidemic control and resumption of services in the postal and courier services industry.
According to Hou Yanbo, deputy head of Market Regulation Department of the State Post Bureau, postal and courier services have already been gradually resumed in an orderly manner since February 7 while fulfilling the central government’s epidemic control requirements. The resumption of services will continue in phases, and by mid-March the industry is expected to resume its normal capacity outside Hubei province.
