Wuhan, March 10 - At the critical moment of the fight against COVID-19 epidemic, Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission paid an inspection trip to Wuhan, Hubei province, on March 10. He stressed that Wuhan and Hubei are of paramount importance and the decisive battlefield for the antivirus fight. Though the epidemic control efforts have turned the tide in Wuhan and Hubei, the overall task remains arduous. At this critical moment, it’s imperative to stay cool, continue what we have been doing until the victory is won, work harder and better and continue take epidemic prevention and control as a task of paramount importance. He called for firm, solid and meticulous prevention and control efforts to defend Hubei and Wuhan.
