On March 21, Shijiazhuang Municipal Leading Group for Response to COVID-19 announced new detailed measures to fine tune the targeted prevention and control efforts in urban residential neighborhoods and rural areas and fully restore normal production and daily life in low-risk areas. For example, it demands that "residential neighborhoods cancel the prevention and control pass and stop limiting people going in and out, and farmer groups stop setting up physical barriers for access control and work to restore the normal order of life gradually."
From today on, all residential neighborhoods and farmer groups should continue to guard their entrances and exits 24 hours a day, take and record the temperature of entrants, and scan their "two-dimensional travel code" or "health code" to save the trouble of paper registration. The access won’t be limited to certain time slots, and the vehicles of residents won’t be banned from entry as long as the drivers cooperate by parking in the designated places in an orderly manner and having their temperature taken.
