Zhao Yide Inspects Shijiazhuang Airport for the Handling of Beijing-bound International Flights

(Reporter of Hebei Daily: Zhao Jian) On the early morning of March 24, Zhao Yide, Deputy Party Chief of Hebei Province, paid an inspection trip to Shijiazhuang airport. He inspected and gave on-site instructions to the handling of Beijing-bound international flights and passengers. He visited the epidemiologic investigation zone, medical examination zone, international flight diversion zone, medical observation points for inbound passengers and the medical observation command, inquired in detail about the inspection, quarantine and customs clearance procedures for international arrivals, and expressed sympathy for frontline workers. He stressed the importance of earnestly implementing President Xi Jinping’s instructions, the decisions and deployment made by the provincial Party committee and government, and the requirements of Hebei’s Party chief Wang Dongfeng. All the prevention and control measures must be effectively and fully implemented, and strong measures should be made to handle the Beijing-bound international flights in an orderly manner to safeguard the capital city from possible imported cases. Zhao was accompanied by Li Jianguo, head of the steering group of the State Council Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism, and Xu Jianpei and Xia Yanjun, vice governors of Hebei.
