At the April 2 press conference of the State Council Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism, Lyu Erxue, deputy head of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, said that CAAC has issued a policy to further cut the number of international passenger flights: only one flight per week per route in one country for each airline company. Currently, 47 Chinese and foreign airlines still maintain regular flights to and from 61 destinations in 40 foreign countries, and the total number of international flights is kept below 134 per week.
