The General Affairs Division of the State Council’s Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism for COVID-19 Response has recently issued the Notice on Strengthening the Detection of Novel Coronavirus in Cities Key to Stemming the Import of COVID-19 Cases.
Accordingly, coronavirus detection will be strengthened in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and 12 destinations designated as the first entry point of international flying passengers bound for Beijing, including Tianjin, Shijiazhuang and Taiyuan.
