To ensure the continuity of learning amid school suspension due to COVID-19 outbreak, Hebei has coordinated provincial, municipal, county and school-level resources to provide online education programs for primary and secondary school students. So far, all 11 cities with administrative districts in the province have launched their own public service platform for online education, with a total of 1,180 online education platforms set up by counties (districts) and primary and secondary schools, attracting 490 million visits. It’s learnt that Hebei’s online elementary education platform has recently been recommended as a model platform by the Ministry of Education to primary and secondary schools in the rest of the country.
